Recently, a theme of unification has been more solidly broadcast to the South- although it is unclear how two completely different governments could somehow how function as a whole.  A democracy and a dictatorship could fly under one flag for the Olympics, but how could they possibly actually be run under one flag?

Still, various conflicting war messages have continue to be sent out. A very large celebratory military even will be held the day before the Olympics begin. While the muted but tangible solicitations for peace and unity go out, with South Korean and the United States agreeing to desist from their joint military drills during the Olympics, the demand for denuclearization of the North is still clearly fostering an ever-growing “do or die” war chant from Washington.
